Hello everybody,
I just read about someone saying that taking courses online is a waste of time because people wont hire you on that particular position that you studied for.
Is that true? Am I actually wasting my time by taking Bookkeeping online?
Or can I actually find a good job with after finishing it?
Thank you.

I took the Bookkeeping program through Penn Foster a few years ago. I had about 6 years office experience under my belt at the time. I noticed at several job interviews employers making positive remarks about "going the extra mile" by doing the program and I know for a fact I was offered two positions over another canidate because of that extra education.

So... all I can tell you is I believe it will help if you are currently in the field.

Good luck to you!!
