Angry watch the job sites!

Watch out!

I just put my resume onto one of those job sites. After I submitted the resume through, it then brought me to a link to the actually company's website where I had to put in that information all over again!

So basically, the first stuff I put in was information for THE scummy job site to get. Who knows what they do with it. Granted, it is not personal info, like ss#, it is just email and address that could be gotten through other means, but still...

Also, make sure you unclick any information in checkboxes, so you won't get information via email, free magazine subscriptions, etc they offer on these job sites.

Also, do not put in your cell phone number as mobile phone contact. I just got a spam text a few days ago, and I am highly suspect it was gotten from one of these job sites. So if you don't want to get spam text - hopefully if you have a home phone line, just put that in there.

When I signed up years ago through these sites, I got so many spam emails it wasn't funny. They can be scummy, watch out!

Preying on the unemployed, what great people!
