Keep an eye on this website, although the Middle East seems a little slow right now. Federal Government Job Search

Recently I was googling international job search websites and came upon one that had a lot of listings for international agencies like the UN and WHO, there were a lot of translation jobs listed. Sadly I didn't save the website link. Google around, there is a demand out there for fluent interpreters and translators, especially in difficult languages like Persian.

Good luck.

Use keyword "persian." or perhaps Farsi. Secret clearance required...though.

Here's 100 companies you can check your skill set against. Good luck.

I think you meant *security clearance*?

They're not that hard to get and issued by the hiring agency. Just time consuming for all the backround checks.

Is "Persian" the same as "Farsi?"

Yeah, I was sleepy when I posted that. If you search CACI they call for a TS/SCI for those jobs. A TS/SCI used to run about 100K to research/check your background. That's why they want you to already have it.

You can apply for the FBI or some Fed LE because they need people who speak a foreign language

or hell go to an employment agency and tell them you are looking to work for a company that needs translator for Iran
