Jobless rate bolts to 8.1 percent, 651K jobs lost (http://news.yahoo.com/s/ap/20090306/ap_on_bi_go_ec_fi/economy - broken link)
My state is still below that figure.
I didn't want to say 8.1% and dropping, because that is too depressing.
BUT, that leaves 91.9% employed, hurray!
hmm I dont know what pennsylvania percentage is exactly at the moment. I assume above the trigger, since we are a trigger state.
But I am listening at the moment to the french internet and they are saying the people are showing a lot of solidarity for the jobless people. If this is true, it reminds me of when I was living in France and the subway people went on strike and lots of people were hitching rides, and Amazingly lots of people were driving them to where they needed to go. Maybe it is because people are not allowed to have guns.
It always left a soft spot, for me, that people were willilng to pick me up and drive me.
Here is to solidarity and good luck!
More than I'd believe some random person on the internet, yes.
Your tinfoil hat fell off.
Actually I fed it to you. Bon appetite.
The rate is over 80% even if you dont agree or like it.
