Do you care if people use one more than one moniker to express their opinions?
I know that on craigslist where i contribute on the legal blog, people use more than one moniker once in a while...why? because they want to express an opinion that might be controversial and they don't want to be beat up for it, where people stalk them every time they post.
I also noticed it with some attorneys who did this because they want to express a contrary opinion for one conversation and then go back to their usual moniker.
So, if someone is expressing their opinion which is funny, stupid, smart, or outrageous, does it matter if they have different names, since if you think a post is stupid, does it matter who posted it, since you don't have to respond.
Also, people do it to protect their identity, since some forums are of a sensitive nature. And despite our best efforts, when we belong to different forums, we do disclose a lot of personal information on some more than others.
So, it is important to you to "out" silly or crazy or comedians or average who use more than one moniker and why??
I think it's funny when it's exposed that someone is having a conversation with himself or herself. But I don't really care unless it's done to attack people or something.
