Acting or music is another career field where talent is needed and hard work will only get you part of the way.
How about your career field, does it require a special talent or just an education and hard work?

Some jobs require a certain level of education as a prerequisite to being hired but don't mistake education as any sort of guarantee of success.
Teachers are a perfect example and while an education is needed what is even more important is a burning desire to teach.
On Sunday evening do you actually look forward to going to work on Monday morning? If your answer to this is yes then you will be successfull in whatever it is you do.
I think I am one of the luckiest people in the world because I honestly look forward to Monday morning at least 90% of the time.
This morning I purchased a
Fire pump handbook for $218 of my own money because it is something I do for a living and I am real excited about getting it. Maybe the company will reimburse me (I haven't asked yet) but I am getting it anyway because to me it is exciting reading. As far as the subject goes I know a lot about it but here's hoping I learn even more.
I practically live and breath what I do. If I didn't have a job I'd have to do it as a hobby.
I don't care what your educational level is if you get into the field and don't love and breath it like I do I will always run circles around you because I can say I honestly strive to be the very best every single day. Not just do the best but be the best.
An education is nothing more than the price of admission.
