I have relatives where you live. That has been a tough employment market for decades BEFORE the current economic situation, so I can only imagine how it is now. I hope you can find something better. If the beach has rebuilt and has enough nightlife, perhaps you might do better as a bartender or food server (waiter/waitress) in a good restaurant, bar, etc.

$8.00
I might have a raise in January but who knows...?

I just consider myself lucky to have a job.

I saw a sign for holiday employment at the Bath & Body Works so I'm certainly thinking about it.

$40, but more like $25, because I have to work 60 hours a week sometimes more than that.

Let's see, about $50/hr. which includes differential for third shift and some 27 years of experience.
I must say it's enough for my life. If I hadn't built up stupid debt (high debt, low interest for life) I'd be in great shape instead of just good.
My first job was $1.60/hr. The minimum wage had just gone up from $1.25.

Any work in Chico's, Nordstrom, Banana Republic, Ann Taylor, Macy's?

Would like to know the salary (please, mention what store/state and position, privately is ok).

I just want to compare the salary for sale associate position.

Also, is sale associate and sale support same salary, or not?

Thanks

If I break my salary down for 52 weeks a year, it comes out to 36/hr. I work 46 weeks, so work performed is just over 40/hr.

Damn, I used to make $30/hour, right now I'm looking for work and will settle for a third of that.
