Agency work for me (not currently, psych RN) depended on what was available. Right now, I gather there is virtually no work available through agency because there aren't many jobs open in the Boston area.
When there were agency assignments, I told them I could only work nights/weekends and they were always calling. I never tried to work more than 40 hours, but I imagine they'd let me if there was a need.
I don't see any long-time openings around being filled with agency. Too many people are looking for work or extra hours at their jobs, at least around here.
