--free spirited but financially responsible people

--an open, inquisitive culture

--warm, dry climate preferably but not necessarily near an ocean or gulf.

--low taxes (not extremely important)

--lots of youngish, single women (late 20s - early 40s)

--anti-materialist attitudes are great

Countries that would remind you of Northern California or Austin, Texas are what I'm looking for.

Specifcally Melbourne or Perth - dry heat. Melbourne is set on a bay, not ocean.

taxes aren't that low though.
