I've never spent Christmas Day anywhere other than at home with my family but I wouldn't want to be anywhere hot or anywhere where Christmas is not widely celebrated. Just wouldn't feel right. I love the German/Austrian Christmas traditions, so somewhere like a log cabin in the Alps would suit me.

I once had a nice Christmas in London, and an awesome New Year's Eve (Hogmanay) in Edinburgh, Scotland.

I usually like to stay home for Christmas, but with our two boys across the Atlantic, we might spend the holiday abroad in 2011.

Chirstmas is just a commercialized holiday now days anyways, so I would like to spend it diving in Fiji or hiking in New Zealand or surfing at Surfers Paradise in Australia.

"Places" is very strange, if you comparte "Holland", a whole county with a city like Paris oder Vegas. I would add USA and Europe.

Sorry, just kidding.... I think there are many beautiful places to spend Christmas. I like NYC but also Berlin and Dresden. This year I try one city from your list: Las Vegas!!

Anyway... the BEST location to spend Christmas is at home.

Christmas shopping in Vienna! Actually, most of the major cities that dot the Danube are excellent Christmas choices.

Christmas anywhere too far South with t-shirt weather is not my cup of tea. Actually, anywhere besides home would be odd. I'll celebrate at home at least as long as I don't have my own family.
