A lot of Native Americans in my city acknowledge some Spanish ancestry (and Spanish is the term used, not Hispanic), yet they consider themselves Native American, not Hispanic or mixed race. This is likely because they are typically only 1/4 or less Spanish, were brought up in Pueblo or Pueblo-American culture, and don't adhere to any racist concepts like the 'one drop rule'.
I believe that Anglo is an Ethnic group (including all monolinguals no matter race). I find demential to classify people in the US by their supposed ancestors in Europe. Reminds me of a Star Trek episode.
