The sources you are attempting to use is distortion and manipulation of facts, just try to prove your point, even when you probably know you are wrong. Why are you showing so much insecurity about USA? This topic is also very biased to population size, and USA just happens to have the 3rd largest population size.
I appreciate, like, and respect plenty of countries all over the world while also liking USA too.
I just find it lame, boring, or pathetic to use some of those frivolous, ignorant, falsely generalized views of USA. There is no reason for a wasteful competition.
When people get busy in life, or having happiness, satisfaction, contentment, or excitement wherever they are in the world, the status of a particular country doesn’t matter at all in this context for people's lives. The connection to power is relative, so I don’t agree with what you said there, neither. Time to move on.

Actually the US invented just about all modern genres of popular music.
I wouldn't gloat about the billionaire fact though. These are the same people who brought the world's economy to it's knees.

Hey, I am impartial as far as taking sides. I still haven't actually voted in the poll as neither side has presented an argument that's convincing of the US being a leader, likewise no one has convinced me the US isn't a leader either. However if I were to vote on just music only, the US would win hands down just for the fact I stated.
Anyway, as a musician, I'd be lying through my teeth if I didn't admit the above. Some subgenres originated in other countries like Heavy Metal which originated in the UK. But it's a subgenre of Rock and Roll which of course originated here.
