America has the best medical equipment no doubt about that, but when it comes to cost I wouldn't give it to America even though the trade off is low taxes.

Is what we spend, direct or via government, as significant as the statisticians and analysts will have us believe? Now where is our value-for-money? It seems that in the UK or USA we are paying through the nose for the lifestyle of those who have studied all sorts of unnecessary subjects, their tedious procedures, lack of competition, etc. And despite their awesome qualifications, they can make mis- or whimsical diagnoses, prescribe inappropriate treatments, etc with impunity. I'd have the insurers license them as medical practitioners
