I got kinda interested in the issue since my family is full of immigrants (half my family moved to USA the other half went to Israel or Australia), and I heard in the news that a lot of countries (ahem Japan) are extremely hostile towards immigrants.

Australia, Germany and America seem pretty friendly

Friendliest? Do you mean most welcoming, as in easiest to get permanent residency? Or do you mean the least amount of trouble and resentment from the existing residents?

It is not easy to get a legal resident's card for the USA, Australia, or New Zealand.

Australia would have to be up there, being surrounded by people from around the world is the norm in the larger cities. It is one of the most successful multicultural countries in terms of integration and acceptance of other cultures.
Here is what modern Australia looks like, on this variation of the music video for Pharrell Williams - Happy. Shot in Sydney.

Americans are pretty welcoming to most immigrants. When I moved to Australia for a few years, I felt welcomed. I would also say South Korea is quite welcoming.

Should have thought of that before colonizing 1/4 of the world. Most of your immigrants are either from former colonies or the EU

I've never heard the japanese being hostile towards anyone, except maybe Hawaii.
