Natural or man made, coasts, bays, rivers, creeks, ponds, canals, etc. Which cities worldwide have the best/most distinct? A few I'll throw out
Venice obviously
LA: Santa Monica beaches, Venice canals, Marina del Rey
Gold Coast, Australia
Seattle: Never been, but the photos and topography of the sound and surrounding lakes are appealing to me.
Minneapolis: Lakes everywhere.
Wellington, New Zealand: huge, mountain-ringed harbor that has nice beaches and commercial shipping within a few minutes' walk from downtown. Easy road access to the harbor and ocean for all but a few miles. And the Cook Strait is just a few miles away. Go to https://www.google.com/maps/place/We...a213b470?hl=en and wander.
