Israel came to mind!

Jesus is from there, many of the Biblical stories occurred there, Jesus died there, and many of the mnauscripts they found are from Israel.

Egypt might also be there, since Jesus was taken there, and many important Biblical events occurred there, including Mt Sinai and the wandering in the desert.

I was going to say China, Israel, Egypt, Italy, India and Greece.

I haven't been to China, but it comes off to me as a place of great spirituality and wisdom.

I don't think there is an entire country for which those labels would be appropriate.

As the "no-religion" option was offered in the OP, my nomination comes from my own experience, and not any connexion with religion: Mt. Errigal, Co. Donegal, Ire. Mount Errigal - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Iraq has a ton of biblical sites as well as Jordan.

Not to mention it has Karbala which is one of the most holiest sites in Shia Islam.

The Irish they even say the lords name when cursing.

But in terms of being religious SPAIN oh dear goodness they have statues everywhere. When we arrived we went out to the country and would see random statues appear of god or mary.

Odd.

The first time we seen it we thought it was a ghost.

Russia (30 million dead in WW2 vs 470 000 Americans, Pacific war included) and Serbia (1,7 million dead in WW2 for a tiny country, and again 2000 killed by NATO bombs in 1999).
We should all bow in respect.

The same could be said for the sites of former Nazi concentration camps in Eastern Europe.
