World Health Organization researchers issued a dire new forecast for the Ebola epidemic Tuesday, one that sees 20,000 cases by November, much sooner than previous estimates. And 70 percent of patients are dying.
Very sad, but the death rate would likely be far, far lower in developed countries with better healthcare, medicine, cleaner hospitals.
Maybe a bit, but as there is no cure for ebola, the death rate would be terrifying in developed countries as well. The death rate is mainly defined with the strength and viciousness of the virus (there's several of them).
In developed countries it would spread less, as we have developed quarantines, that is a given.

Mass death is maybe a bit exaggerated, if some 1500 people have died since the virus was discovered in 1976. Since then 30 million people have died in malaria.
Poor hygiene, ritual burying and poor knowledge of the disease are the main factors.

Are you often in contact with other peoples' fluids, like blood or semen?
I don't know why the news media is so worried about this. It's only infected what, 20,000 people out of 7 billion people on the planet? Oh, the horror.

Remember that the incubation period is 21 days. Full quarantine protocols should be followed for three weeks.
With ... out ... oxygen.
