USA the weather in California is better than anywhere in Canada.
One example Easter
My family in Ontario Canada had snow
Whereas in California we had a nice mild sunny day
Yeah, I mean, my state borders Ontario. It ain't all sunshine and rainbows over here in PA, either my state sits across the lake from where Magnatomicflux is sitting (east, not west, I mean). My city and Magnatomicflux's is about a 10°F difference, that's about it.

Yes. Several weeks ago, I was freezing my butt off in -15°C weather waiting for the bus. Where I used to live in northern PA, the weather is 99% the same as southern Ontario. Oh the days of frozen water pipes in the middle of winter
I probably wouldn't think in those terms of US or Canada.
Think of a region in North America that appeals to you. Would you rather be in Toronto or Los Angeles, kind of thinking would be more productive.
A U.S. vs Canada is extremely simplistic generic conversation. Look at specifics. Unless you REALLY like stereotypes and very generic kind of 'dumb' conversations....if so, this is a good one, but I do believe there are a number of these simplistic generic comparisons already.
