All similar places (climate, geography)

I've only been to NZ out of those, but all 3 have beautiful scenery. For me Patagonia is the most 'alien' and spectacular, so I'd go with that.

As a place to live NZ or Cascadia though.

I'm curious to know why anyone would think of the three as being comparable in any way. Patagonia is a cold true desert of a mostly flat relief, New Zealand has an insular rainy geography and climate, and Cascadia is a montane region of extremely severe winter climate.

^^ western Patagonia is very similar to New Zealand. In fact i can't think in other part of the world more close in terms of landscape. However, if we count whole Patagonia, i think it beat New Zealand, because of the sheer diversity and bigger surface.

Regarding the other option of the poll, what implies Cascadia? Pacific northwest? including Canada BC?

75% of Patagonia is in Argentina, about which Wiki says "Argentine Patagonia is for the most part a region of steppelike plains". Just as France is essentially pretty flat, despite the presence of a few easily photographed montane regions on is edges iincluding the highest peak in Europe, which prove nothing about most of the country. Many countries possess a mountain range, which contrasts with what is otherwise a gentle relief.

Tough call but I'll go with NZ as I think it has slightly more swimmable beaches than the others. They are all spectacular in their own right though

Cascadia is a lack-or-a-better name made up by Oregon Secessionists, to include whomever wants to come along.
