I am comparing the two most global sporting events! The Super Bowl (America's undisputed sporting event favorite) is nowhere near the level of the FIFA World Cup or the Olympic Games when talking about popularity on a GLOBAL scale!
A Super Bowl would be fun (especially if the NFL would do an outdoor, cold weather Super Bowl again like they did in New York in 2014), but as far as North American sports are concerned, I'd take the Stanley Cup Playoffs any day! I would love to be around in the arena of a Game 7 of the Stanley Cup Finals that went into overtime (the last time it happened was 1954 if I remember correctly).
