Finnish, of course, as I'm Finnish. There is no 'The European' ethnicity which would cover everything as a compromise. The Big Four (Germany, France, Britain, Italy) are not surprisingly those who have contributed the most to the modern society.

How about "Vulgar Latinos"?

It's all based on laziness and ignorance. I'm an American to most Europeans but a Brazilian is a Brazilian.

Yes that makes perfect sense.

Just because North Africans and Western Asians move to Europe doesn't make their home countries part of Southern Europe.

Btw latino is a latin american ONLY in North America, outside of it people don't really use that term.
Latinos use the words Latino and Hispano to unify themselves. They have public service announcements on Spanish TV in the US in which about 15 different people of varying shades, from varying countries say, "Yo soy hispano" with a unifying narrative.

There's no accounting for Chavez, Chavez 2.0 (Maduro) and Ortega.

Anyway, my point to Britany was that Latino is not some American made label as she seemed to be implying.

I said they were part of the Mediterranean region. I didn't say Algeria, Morocco, Libya, etc. were part of Southern Europe.

Let's call them the "Imperials". They will have Roman names and wear Roman legionary armor and constantly be at war with their barbarian neighbors the Nords and the Bretons. Also there would be orcs, lizard people and three types of elves, a tall yellow skinned elf race, a blue, xenophobic elf race, and a tetchy little cannibalistic elf race. Europe has never been more fun.

I don't know about Florida, but in New Mexico, 'Hispano' specifically refers to people primarily of Spanish descent as opposed to mestizos or Spanish speakers of indigenous or African blood.
