Yeah, sounds great having the support of a man who went on a rampage killing anyone involved in the drug industry, often in illegal proceedings, at least by American standards. Idk Philippine laws. But we are NOT the Philippines. We are better than them and need to remember that. We have more and better civil rights.

How many times can we not learn about drugs? Criminalizing drugs does.not.work. We need more rehabilitation. We're paying to lock people up in a jail that is not helping them. Why not pay to put them in forced rehab? That's what Portugal did and their drug problem got much much better.

So no, having Duterte's support is not some huge accomplishment. He's a violent borderline tyrant who is massacring Filipinos and anyone involved in drugs, promoting violence against the victims, the drug addicts.

"Well being" as Duterte goes on a killing rampage. Yeah. Ok. Oh and don't forget the "well being" of all the Americans suffering from hate crimes due to Trump's election. Why don't respect each other as Americans first? Why don't Trump supporters condemn bigotry, hatred, racism, and hate crimes instead of claiming liberalism is a mental disease, gayness is a birth defect, Muslims are all terrorists, and victimizing rape victims? Learn some respect for your own citizens first.

nonsense, the country is more united than ever. Muslims make up 1% of the population and liberal snowflakes on tumblr and Buzzfeed make up around 4%. Latinos voted in record nubers for trump, higher than any republican candidate ever. That means 5% of the population doesn't like the vast majority (95%). That is not a divide, that is an anomaly.

Also the Philippians has a drug problem, Duterte is cleaning up the street, that's why he has an 80%+ approval rating among the people.

Such a "friendship" is very likely an alliance of convenience. Just as the majority of "friendships" between countries.
