Which city or cities in the world are culturally the coolest, in your opinion.

I guess in days before cultural terminology such as "cool" entered common usage, people would refer to the same qualities as "glory" or "grace".

I appreciate many people have their own opinions on what counts as cool, so please define this if necessary, using examples of people, cultural icons, objets d'arts and so on.

Hong Kong is the furthest thing from what I'd call cool tbh.

I'd say NYC. Doesn't get much cooler than that.

Dubai is kind of cool (especially considering where it's located) but it needs work.

I would say LA. Everyone I meet who is not from the US wants to visit LA. LA is a really neat city, I went there about 6 years ago and really enjoyed it. Tons to do and great weather. It's a very cool city.

Most westerners think Hong Kong is very cool. Awesome food, famous movies and music, great architecture, etc. I'd say one of the coolest cities in Asia, top 5 easy. But the coolest city in Asia must be Tokyo imo.
