I like a lot of different landscapes, but my favourite has got to be temperate forests with mountains in the background.
Runner ups include dense jungles, tropical islands and some deserts like the ones found in the Southwest.

1. Wet forests. Not necessarily rain forests, but damp, dripping, mossy, ferns, bogs, etc. Mainly deciduous, but also pines.

2. Narrow, steep river valleys, preferably flanked by the above forest type.

Also I prefer rugged, but rolling terrain to huge steep mountains.

Favorite: Tropical highlands. Love the mountainous terrain mixed with tropical vegetation and palm trees and snaking rivers.

Least favorite: Probably the desert. Depends on which one, I like the more alien-looking deserts like the Atacama or the Outback. The sort of desert I hate are the ones like the Sonora, which has ugly greyish shrubbery everywhere and looks very dusty
