I'd go even further down to California as well.

That said, I love coastlines and there are so many in the world that are jaw dropping. Italy's Amalfi Coast, many in the UK, China has some amazing vistas as well.

Heck the whole planet is riddled with beautiful coastlines.

Some of my favorite coast lines are fjords which would includes places such as Alaska, British Columbia, Chile, Greenland, Iceland, the Kerguelen Islands, New Zealand, Norway, Novaya Zemlya, Labrador, Nunavut, Newfoundland, Scotland, and Washington state. I also like any coast line that has mountains/hills nearby plus sea stacks such as the Oregon coast. I also think that Rio de Janeiro has an amazing coast line because of all those rocky Islands/peninsulas.

Don't know how this poll works with not only countries but also regions, areas, and continents are selected in the list. Kind of meaningless.

Some of the most beautiful coastal scenery I have seen are parts of Coastal California,, Hawaii, the Cliffs of Moher in Ireland; the Portuguese island of Madeira, the island of Capri and the Cinque Terre and the Amalfi coast in Italy, the Tasmanian sea cliffs, the Cote d'Azur in France and Cape Town and the coast south of it.

the ones in great Canada seem difficult to live close to. Cheers for Novaya Zemlya, Labrador, Nunavut, Newfoundland - they don't seem very easy to get to, but I'll find out someday! Great replies so far - thanks everyone!

Last I heard, it was still in South America, but yes, there are loads of beautiful places left out. I think, "Another Country", or, "Other", could be where to put it.

Anywhere on the Cornish coast, in England.

Would that be under “An Island” (Britain), “Another Country” or “Other” though?
