Why do we hear more about the spiders in Australia than we do in Brazil when Brazil has bigger more deadly spiders

Well I know that Australia speaks English and not Portuguese like Brazil so more know about Australia than Brazil I'm just saying that the spiders in Australia are thought to be more terrifying.

Mind-boggling, the disparity between Facts, and "what we hear about". There has been only one known instance of Piranhas eating a large mammal, and that was staged for cameramen, but we've all heard about it.
