Does anyone know how Lon Chaney came to be "The Man of a Thousand Faces?" I found out in a film class I took. Interesting back story on one of my favorite old-time actors.
I read something years ago about how Lon Chaney used very painful ways to contort his face. For instance he used fishhooks in his mouth to contort his cheeks.
