Oh here's another delicious word:

Vigilante

I love it.

Good word. I also like the word "renegade".

I like the snake Bothrops asper, because it has three great names:

Fer-de-lance ('lance tip')
Yellowjaw (it has a yellow beardy color)
Tommygoff (gods know why)

On top of that, it's a mean sucker whose bite will ruin your day.

I've heard this one all my life and still like it--"talk is cheap".

"She looks rode hard and put up wet."

"He's all hat and no cattle."

"She lies like a rug on the floor."

"He'd rather cross the street and tell a lie than stand on the sidewalk and tell the truth." A variation of that is "He'd rather climb a tree and tell a lie than stand on the ground and tell the truth."

Actually, it freaks my mother out, because she doesn't actually believe that's a word.
I like that word, too. But it does sound like someone who's taken a calcium supplement. Hence, they re-calcitrated themselves.

Pretty well says like it is and in a "nice" way, too.

I've always liked "Get your ducks in a row."
