Looking for places to see or maybe take a short hike along the route from Fort Collins to Kemmerer. Looking for hikes in the 5 mile roundtrip range or less.

Thanks

Depends on your route.../ timing.

If from the East Side / Laramie, take the Centennial to Saratoga route over Snowy Range, plenty of excellent hikes close to the road, beautiful route. Hobo Hot Springs in Saratoga.

If from west side / Poudre / Walden
You can route through Encampment (great museum, reconstruction of old town) / Saratoga,

or routes west through Steamboat, and north,

or further west to Vernal and north through Flaming Gorge.

If you are going round trip, then take two different routes.

Hike around the main lakes of the Snowy Range. Pretty, get right into it.
