Hi folks,

I want to start this thread by please asking for your help I am looking for honest feedback on Laramie Wy. I am looking to move to Wyoming, preferably Laramie. I am wondering about the job situation. I have worked in manufacturing for 13 years, but I don't care what I do as long as I can make enough to live on.

I am a single parent of a seventeen year old son and it is time for me to take a step back and enjoy my life. I love the cold weather and small town life. I actually grew up in a small town but there is no more of these where I live and it makes me sick. I really want to drive down the street and give a friendly wave to everyone that passes by.

Can anyone please give me some advice? I know that there is not any manufacturing jobs, but I would work anywhere except Taco Bell

Can you please have a country heart and help me out?

Thank you very much.

I think Laramie is a nice college town with a population of around 28k.
Lots of retail type jobs. The local paper is the Laramie Boomerang. You could go online & look at help wanted ads to see whats available. Also a big Walmart store for a possible job.

I'll eat anywhere but Taco Bell.

You said you want a small town. I know that Laramie isn't exactly Chicago, but I'd hardly call it a small town. IMO a small town has a few thousand people or less...alot less.
