Hello, I am wondering if there are any towns with antique stores in the Fort Mill, Rock Hill, or Indian Land areas? if not, where would the nearest town with those sort of stores be?
I don't know of any in those towns but if you're willing to go into Charlotte for antiques there's the Sleepy Poet antique mall. The address is 4450 South Blvd. It's pretty big inside and there's a lot of great stuff with decent variety. Downtown Pineville has a few small shops, a few of which have some good stuff at some reasonable prices.

Sleepy Poet is a lot of fun! Be prepared to spend a couple of hours. Waxhaw has some cool antique places as well, but it's a bit of a drive. If you want to spend a whole day antiquing, check out Metrolina Expo.

Does Metrolina have all types of items, or, just particular items? The website seemed to suggest it was only certain items that are sold there.

Should clarify - the Metrolina Expo site has different shows and events. The ones to watch for are the Antiques and Collectibles shows - first weekend of each month. (Check the schedule on their website to make sure!) Typically they have the nicer stuff inside the buildings, and more affordable "yard sale" items outside. It's huge, like a fairgrounds. Get an early start if you go!

If you are near HWY 77 @ the border of South Carolina and North Carolina they have on either side of the Hwy the " Welcome Center" for each state. There they have a informative brochure-directory on Antique stores for the area.
