I have not seen anything in the news regarding the bicyclist that was struck on HWY 49 on Thursday evening (5/2) just south of Buster Boyd bridge (near Heritage Dr intersection). I fish the Thursday night tournaments, and Life Flight landed in the parking lot just before we launched and transported him to the hospital. I was mostly concerned about the condition of the cyclist. It happened around 5 pm, I was coming from the opposite direction and just saw several vehicles swerve off the road and run back to where he was lying. It was unnerving, to say the least. But I haven't been able to find info out since then. Has anyone heard anything about this?
