Greetings,

I have a gift certificate to this restaurant. I have called, no answer. Before I drive there from Charlotte, I wonder if it is still operational.

Is anyone familiar with this restaurant? If so, what is your opinion?

Thanks.
sandy

Is the address for Lake House 3921 Mt. Gallant Rd? If so they went out of business ... closed a few months ago ... the food was terrible anyway so you didn't miss a thing.

A new fishcamp has moved in, Pier 51, I don't know if they are open yet, I think they have another location in Pineville or Charlotte.

Pier 51 in Rock Hill is open and the food is great. I ordered flounder & oyster dinner and somebody there knows how to fix oysters! Portions are large and price very reasonable. Best seafood I've found in Rock Hill.

Thumbs up Pier 51 in Rock Hill is "Fantastic"

Very seldom do you find a resturant much less a fish camp with a great salad bar. There's is always fresh and the lettuce has been chopped up into small bite fulls . I wish they had real bacon bits but it's still sooooooo good. Fresh tomatoes, 2 different kinds of slaw, potato salad etc. Now the fish it's very meaty and fresh tasting. We have been several times which always lends to having at least a bad night here and there but so far every meal has been VERY good. It's the best fish camp we've been to in a long, long time. I've been going to fish camps since I was around 5years old starting out at the Riverview Inn Fish Camp in Charlotte with Captain Wendy and his 1 leg. Now they were great back then, but not so much now and very pricey. Anyway, I love fish and Pier 51 has given me a new place to call home. Hope you enjoy your visit as much as we have. Friendly service also and reasonable prices.
