CPTN STATED THAT THEY STRUCK A FLOCK OF BIRDS AT 100' AGL ON APCH TO RWY 16. FULL LENGTH INSPECTION OF RWY 16 WAS COMPLETED W/ NEGATIVE FINDINGS. UPON INSPECTION OF A/C, SNARGE WAS FOUND IN SEVERAL AREAS INCLUDING THE WINDSHIELD, RADOME, TAIL AND LOWER FUSELAGE. NO DAMAGE WAS NOTED TO THE A/C AND SNARGE SAMPLES WERE SENT TO SMITHSONIAN. USDA BIOLOGIST NOTIFIED VIA EMAIL.

BERGER STATED THAT HE WAS UNAWARE THAT THEY HAD STRUCK A BIRD AND NTHEREFORE THE A/C'S LOCATION AT THE TIME OF THE STRIKE IS . A/C LANDED AT 21:33L AND WAS OEPRATING AS ENVOY 3070 DIRECT FROM ORD. USDA WILDLIFE BIOLOGIST D. COLBERT WAS NOTIFIED AND SAMPLES WERE SENT TO SMITHSONIAN FOR POSITIVE ID. 21:41 PM NIGHT
