Arden Fair in Sacramento, California is an Over-the-Top Shopping Experience


Located close to downtown Sacramento off the Alta Arden Expressway, Arden Fair is a large upscale shopping mall specially designed to serve the upper middle class and affluent communities that are prevalent in the area of the state capital. The mall offers 1.1 million square feet of retail space and more than 160 retail locations.

Like any mall, shopping is the main attraction at Arden Fair. The mall is anchored by four department stores - Nordstrom, Macy's, J.C. Penney, and Sears - providing a diversity of shopping options at a wide variety of prices. When full, the mall contains another 165 stores or other retail operations including many familiar chains and some less familiar retailers that are unique to the area.

In the realm of apparel, Arden Fair offers stores such as Abercrombie and Fitch, American Eagle, Ann Taylor, bebe, Cache, Chico's, Citiwear, Express, Gap, J. Crew, Jessica McClintock, Juicy Couture, Lucky Brand Jeans, The Limited, Torrid, Victoria's Secret, White House/Black Market, and many others. Places to buy kids apparel include The Children's Place, The Disney Store, Gap Kids, and Gymboree. Men's apparel stores are plentiful as well and include such names as Joseph A. Bank, Banana Republic, and many others. Shoe stores like Bakers and Payless Shoe Source as well as other retailers that carry accessories are also commonplace, such as Sunglass Hut, Lids, Coach, Foot Locker, Oakley, and many others.

In addition to clothing and accessory retailers, a number of specialty shops are also located at Arden Fair Mall in Sacramento. Visitors can find such shops as The Apple Store, Auto Trends, Bath and Body Works, Brookstone, Crabtree and Evelyn, Godiva and See's Chocolates, LEGO, Merlo's Cutlery, and many, many more. Several carts and kiosks peddle additional items of various sorts.

The Arden Fair Mall also boasts two extensive food court areas, one on each level. Here, patrons will find a huge selection of eateries from which to choose including both sit-down restaurants and places to grab a quick lunch or dinner. Many varieties of ethnic cuisine are represented at the mall and Arden Fair visitors will also find several places to indulge in a tasty snack including ice cream, cinnamon rolls, soft pretzels, smoothies, and more. WiFi internet service is available in both food court areas.

The mall sponsors a number of special events each year as do the individual stores. Arden Fair also offers a Kid's Club, sponsored by a local hospital, which provides events for children from the ages of 2 to 10. These special entertainment events are held monthly and are free to children in that age range. In addition, a Mall Walkers Club provides exercise for those who prefer to walk indoors. The club meets several times each week.

Arden Fair's customer service area sells gift cards that are usable throughout the mall, with just a few exceptions. In addition, the mall offers a weekly email newsletter called eStyle, which provides customers with Arden Fair news including store profiles and notice of sales and special events.
