Bartholomew Park Winery

Bartholomew Park Winery was founded in 1994. The owners wanted to offer handcrafted goods beside a great tasting wine. The land is 37 acres with an estate near the Mayacamas Mountain range in Glen Ellen Sonoma County, California. The vineyard is also set up against the Arroyo Seco where warm temperatures, cool breezes, and great drainage allow the grape vines to grow into great tasting wine.

The estate vineyard had to be renovated in 2005 in order to become an organic winery. It took quite a bit of work, but they did get their organic certification. Now they work with Manager Phil Coturri to help create an all organic line of wines. Visitors can come to the winery to see the tasting room museum and winery. Tours are offered seven days a week from 11am to 4:30pm. There is no need for an appointment as long as the party is under seven people. Any larger a group and a reservation to tour the grounds is mandatory. The house, winery, and tasting room are all part of the tour. The wine tasting will allow visitors to select a couple of different vintages and then shop in the local store.
