Comedy Store La Jolla

The Comedy Store, La Jolla is located at 916 Pearl Street and is about 15 miles north of central San Diego. As an uncensored club, the shows run the gamut from G to R rated language and topics. This stand-up comedy club hosts many favorite comedians from Comedy Central and late night TV as well as local talent.

The club opens at 7 p.m. every Wednesday through Sunday. Closing hours differ depending on the night: 1 a.m. on Friday and Saturday and 12 a.m. all other nights. The box office is open daily from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. It is the sister establishment to the well known Comedy Store on Sunset Strip in Los Angeles.

The club has an open mic policy that allows aspiring comedians to sign up for a show. Fifteen names are drawn at random to perform on an open mic performance each Sunday night.

The Comedy Store requires guest to be over 21 years old and the seating at bistro-style tables is first come, first served. No reservations are available. There is a two drink minimum and the club does not serve food. It is, however, within walking distances of numerous restaurants. Street parking is available along the surrounding blocks.
