Camping in the backcountry of the Grand Canyon National Park is one of the most thrilling and yet intense experiences. Views of the nearby Tapeats Amphitheater are also available.

Overnight camping permits can be obtained at the North Rim Ranger Station which is found just one mile north of the Grand Canyon Lodge. Reservations for camping in this area are highly recommended as the area fills up quickly.
