Disney's Grand California Hotel, Anaheim, CA

Disneyland is perhaps one of the most popular destinations in the USA. Anyone visiting the magnificent park will need somewhere to stay when in town. There are plenty of options, but not all of them will be on the doorsteps of the park itself. For this reason Disney's Grand California Hotel in Anaheim, California might be one of the better places to stay. The hotel is set on the outskirts of the park offering a luxury stay in a beautiful building.

The hotel's exterior is a mixture of white brick and wood. It offers a slight European style to the extra large villa appearance. Many of the guest rooms do have balconies. The hotel offers 745 rooms, business facilities, and a landscape that takes visitors away from the city surrounding them.

Hotel rooms are either standard or suites depending on a visitor's preference. The architecture is based on 20th century arts and crafts, keeping the guest rooms interior rather busy with beautiful crafts. The standard rooms come with 24 hour rooms' service, high speed internet, non smoking, comfy robes, sleeping bags and cushions, in room safes, phones, voicemail, and plenty of room. The suites will have king size or queen size beds, turn down service, and refrigerators. There are also villas on the premises that offer more room including a small kitchen area.

Guests do not even have to leave the hotel if they wish for recreation. Mandara Spa offers numerous massage therapies, treatments, and more. The fountain pool is an oasis with a turtle fountain. There is also the Mariposa Pool, Redwood Pool, and Pinocchio's Workshop on site at the hotel. Whether children need to be entertained or the business traveler needs a little break the hotel can offer it.

Disney's Grand Hotel offers special rates depending on the guest's preference. For those wishing a trip in to the park for their stay a package can be purchased. They also have annual pass holder discounts. The rates will depend on the type of package one wishes to have. If a trip into the park is wished for the tickets will be included in the hotel stay. Dinner with some of the park's top favorites can also be arranged.

Dining is just as varied as the pools being offered to guests. The Hearthstone Lounge is a charming little place where one can enjoy a fireplace and porch views of Disneyland. Napa Rose is a Napa Valley cuisine style restaurant with plenty of Napa Valley wines on offer. The Napa Rose Lounge provides a fireplace and terrace for an evening sipping wine. The Storytellers Cafe is more for families as it is possible to hear some of the more popular fairy tales of the ages. Chip `n Dale offer a breakfast splash at the cafe with an all one can eat buffet. If a guest is feeling a little snack like they can visit the White Water Snack Bar at the poolside. There is also plenty of dining in the park and surrounding areas.
