The Keystone Lake is a huge draw for tourists and travelers to the Keystone, Colorado region. The lake offers numerous activities for all seasons, including fishing and boating in the summer to ice skating in the winter. During the summer months Keystone Lake offers an elaborate 4th of July celebration along with many outdoor activities to provide fun for the entire family. Visitors can rent paddle boats, canoes, or swim in the designated lake areas. During the summer months, fireworks are shot over the lake every Saturday night and offer a popular show for residents of the Keystone Lake Village as well as guests at the resort.

During the winter, the lake completely freezes over and becomes one of the world's largest zamboni maintained skating facilities. There are approximately five acres of frozen lake that is open to the public. Skates can be rented nearby and hockey rinks become built into the lake to provide more family fun.
