Lakeview Cross Country

Lakeview Cross Country ski area is located on the north side of Lake Tahoe at 925 Country Club Dr. This area, on the north shore of Lake Tahoe, proclaims to have some of the best and most varied cross-country skiing in the country. Lakeview Cross Country ski area offers ski instruction, groomed ski lanes, ski rental equipment, and a lodge with a café.

Boasting 17 groomed trails measuring a total distance of 65 miles, Lakeview Cross Country ski area is hidden just outside of Tahoe City. Skiers will find warming huts along the trails. Every March this venue hosts the Great Nordic Race, which runs from Tahoe City to Truckee. This Great Ski Race Trail of the Nordic Marathon will challenge most cross-country skiers. For a milder trail, visitors can try Eagleview Trail to catch excellent views of Lake Tahoe. In addition, Lakeview Cross Country ski area hosts moonlight ski tours.

An hour drive away from Reno-Tahoe International Airport, Lakeview Cross Country ski area sits just off Highway 28. During the summer months, visitors can also enjoy river rafting at Truckee River Raft Co., located just 3 miles southwest of Lakeview Cross Country ski area. Other nearby attractions include Tahoe State Recreation Area and Tahoe City Kayak.
