Oakland Convention Center

One of the top convention centers in California, the Oakland Convention Center sits in the heart of the largest urban area on the East Bay.

The convention center offers 64,000 square feet of flexible event space (including 48,000 square feet without columns), a professional staff to assist with event planning, three ballrooms, a parking garage, boardrooms and hospitality suites, catering, and a large variety of hotels within walking distance of the center. The rooftop ballroom provides excellent views of San Francisco Bay. The 11 meeting rooms offer small group space that measure from 264 to 1,300 square feet. The convention center also houses a legal resource center.

With easy access to the Oakland Airport, the Oakland Convention Center sits in the middle of Oakland's cultural sights, sporting venues, corporation headquarters, and educational institutions. In addition, a Bay Area Rapid Transit station resides directly across the street from the convention center and can have patrons in San Francisco in about 12 minutes.

The Oakland Convention Center is located less than 10 miles north of Oakland International Airport. A short distance away from the convention center, tourists can enjoy a gondola ride, Lakeside Park, Golden Gate Bonsai Collection, or the Children's Fairyland, the Paramount Theatre, Jack London Square, Chinatown, the Camron-Stanford House, and Oakland Ice Center.
