Pasatiempo Golf Club

Pasatiempo Golf Club is a public 18-hole golf course located in the Southern California city of Santa Cruz. The Pasatiempo was designed by architect Alister MacKenzie. MacKenzie also designed world-famous Augusta National and Cypress Point. Pasatiempo is semi-private and opens up to the public during certain times each day. As of 2010, Pasatiempo is ranked #11 in the top 100 courses you can play, as well as #31 in Golf Digest. Golf Digest also named Pasatiempo the #3 course in California. Golf Magazine ranks the course #55 in both public and private courses in the United States.

Several golf pros have hit the links of the Pasatiempo including Tiger Woods, Juilie Inkster, Bobby Jones, and Greg Norman. Several of the holes offer great views of the nearby Monterey Bay. Several enthusiasts choose to use the Pasatiempo as part of a three part tour along with Pebble Springs and Spyglass Hill, which are the three top rated courses in the state. All three are within an hour's drive of one another.

Pasatiempo has a dress code which includes plastic cleats and collared shirts. There is a full service restaurant in the Hollins House which is perfect for weddings and events.
