Sacramento Theatre Company

Sacramento Theatre Company is located at H Street in Sacramento, California and is approximately 15 miles from Sacramento International Airport. The company produces both classical and modern plays and started out as a group of Sacramento citizens looking to entertain the troops during the Second World War. Now there are eight performances a week of shows provided between September and June.

The Mainstage of the theatre seats 292 people in three sections surrounding the stage. The Pollock Stage is a smaller 85-seat theatre that has just three rows of seats giving it a more intimate feel. Audience members are requested not to use cameras or video recorders during shows. Visitors will be able to purchase food from the lobby area as well as fine wines and beverages from the bar.

Tickets can be purchased from the Wells Fargo Pavilion Box Office, which is open from 12noon to 6pm Tuesday to Saturdays and 90 minutes prior to each performance. The company also provides after school and weekend performing arts training programs for elementary, middle and high school students. Summer camps are held here too with classes in improvisation, playwriting, theatre history, yoga and Shakespeare provided amongst others.
