Sonoma County Tourism Bureau

Sonoma County is home to more than 300 wineries, dozens of quaint towns, a coastline marked by crashing surf, luxurious spas, ageless redwoods, and fascinating rivers. Helping visitors enjoy all these attractions is the job of the Sonoma County Tourism Bureau, established in 2005 as the official destination marketing organization for the region known as "Sonoma Wine Country."

From its headquarters in Santa Rosa, the Sonoma County Tourism Bureau can assist with planning trips for business or pleasure. The impact of tourism on Sonoma County is considerable, worth roughly one billion dollars in annual income. The bureau coordinates with the Sonoma County Lodging Association (SCLA) regarding accommodations for overnight visitors. Also involved in providing and disseminating information are local chambers of commerce and municipal visitors centers some 20 of them in total.

The Sonoma County Tourism Bureau has a highly motivated and well trained staff, who carry out their work under the direction of a 22-member Board of Supervisors. They are equipped to handle inquiries on all types of subjects, from where to stay, dine, and shop to what to do and how to arrange all the details. Assistance is also available for event planning, such as weddings. The Sonoma County Tourism Bureau is located at 3637 Westwind Boulevard, Santa Rosa, California 95403.
