The South Rim Visitor Center located in Arizona's Grand Canyon National Park can be found at the Canyon View Information Plaza. There is a wide range of information available about the Grand Canyon and the things available to do in the park here.

There is a shuttle bus to take visitors to the plaza free of charge. Visitors can also park in one of the lots located between the Visitor Center and Mother Point. The hours of operation during the winter are from eight in the morning until five in the evening.

The South Rim Visitor Center is open every day of the year including all holidays. Visitors to the south rim of the canyon should make reservations for lodging and camping. The rim that you wish to visit should be specified.

The Grand Canyon's South Rim is an average of seven thousand feet above sea level. There is a store at the visitor's center to accommodate those that would like souvenirs or need to gather a few things for their stay. The South Rim Visitor Center should be the first stop when entering the canyon this way to ensure that you are fully prepared for your visit to the Grand Canyon National Park.
