Trefethen Vineyards

Trefethen Vineyards is located is located in the Knoll District of Napa Valley and prides themselves with using only the grapes from that specific area. The winery recently celebrated their 40th anniversary in 2008. Their signature wines include a dry Riesling, Chardonnay, Merlot, and Cabernet Sauvignon. The reserve wines include Harmony, Dragon's Tooth, Reserve Cabernet Sauvignon, HaLo, and Later Reserve Riesling.

Trefethen family vineyards also host several wine related events throughout the year. They regularly have dinner and wine tasting events, wine auctions, fundraisers, and cruises. Their signature event is an Athens to Venice cruise. The inaugural cruise took place in August, 2010 and another one is planned for October 2011. Peter Luthi, winemaker emeritus, will be on the ship sharing his knowledge and insight about winemaking.

There are three different wine clubs for people to join. Club Trefethen, Grateful Red, and Cutter's Club. Each club receives four shipments per year of select wines. Club members also receive special discounted lodging through the vineyard's lodging partners. People can also take wine making and wine education classes. The Trefethen Vineyards also hosts several private engagements and has staff available to book corporate gatherings, weddings, and other private events.
