Wente Vineyards Estate Winery

The Wente Vineyards Estate Winery offers wines from their vineyard that was founded over a century ago. It is the country's oldest continuously operated family winery and is one of the leaders in modern wine production. The Wente family has used blending traditions and innovative winemaking practices to create unique wines from its more than 3,000 acres worth of sustainaly farmed vineyards. The winery is located east of San Francisco in the Livermore Valley area and is close to find dining, accommodations and championship golf. The winery offers public wine tastings on the historic estate in their newly renovated space. Guests are surrounded by trees, flowers, green space and a new water feature while they relax and enjoy a variety of wines from the Wente collection. Guests can taste in either the Estate or the Vineyard Tasting Rooms. The winery also offers group and private tastings. Wines in the collection include Sauvignon Blancs, Merlots, Cabernet Sauvignon, Syrah, Riesling and Chardonnay. Nth Degree wines are part of the handcrafted collection of wines offered by the Wentes. Certain Chardonnays, Cabs, Syrahs, Merlots and Pinot Noirs have been chosen by the family's fifth generation winemakers as part of this unique collection. They are considered the best of the best from the vineyard and are treated special from vine to barrel.
