But figuratively, in 2010 I attended NYU and stayed in the dorms. In 2014 I snagged my friends place in an overcrowded 1bd in Downtown Brooklyn where I only payed $600/mo. Got a job within a month and moved to SoHo to split a 2bd. The next step will be to get my own place because living on my own has spoiled me for the last two years.
