We are avid boaters so we want to position ourselves close to the lake. We ruled out Tega Cay and are focusing on the other side of the lake in the clover school district. From what I can find the schools are not as good but I found them to still be good by my standards. We also have not ruled out the Belmont area of NC. I have found some communities there that offer community dock spaces. Good luck. Let me know what you find.
